Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival to Tbilisi. Passport control.
Proceed to Hotel, overnight.

Day 02

Breakfast at hotel.

Tbilisi City tour: All sightseeing (Sioni cathedral, Metekhi church, National History Museum, State Arts museum, Modern Art gallery etc).

Return to hotel, Evening free, overnight

Day 03

Breakfast at hotel.

Drive north to Khevsureti region, along of river Aragvi by Georgian Military highway till village Roshka (2000m), then walk to the camp (2550m) at Mt. Chaukhi foot

Day 04

Walk to Chaukhi pass up to 3300m and then down to circuit of Chakhi Mountains till camp at 2600m.

Day 05

Walking around in Mountains, climbing on one of the summits (3300-3600m), overnight in camp.

Day 06

Walk down to Juta village, where transport will wait us to drive to Kazbegi town (1700m) and then up to 2100m hills.

Then we trek to our camp at 2900m, on the way crossing Sabertse Pass at 3100m.

Overnight.

Day 07

We cross Gergeti Glacier and trek up to mountain hut METEOSTATION at 3775m,

Overnight

Day 08

We walk around of hut and then trek Maili Plateau 4500m (we’ll need climbing equipment), which is starting point for climbing Kazbegi summit, then back to hut for overnight

Day 09

Trek down to Kazbegi town, where transport will wait us to take to Gudauri ski resort 200m.

Overnight in good hotel

Day 10

Drive back to Tbilisi.

En route stop at Ananuri church and visit ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta, to explore Jvari monastery (6th c) & Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th c), then drive to Tbilisi, overnight at the hotel

Day 11

Transfer to Tbilisi airport. Departure.
